Answers to common questions about tracking your pregnancy, kicks, contractions, and appointments in Niio — and how to reach us for anything else.
Niio calculates your due date and current week from the date you enter during onboarding (due date, or last period / conception date, converted to an estimate). It's a standard 40-week estimate — always confirm your exact due date and week with your doctor or midwife, especially around key appointments and milestones.
Yes — entries you log in the Kick Counter, Contraction Timer, Weight, and Symptom screens are saved to your device's local storage and are still there the next time you open Niio. Nothing is uploaded to a server; everything stays on your phone.
Make sure notifications are allowed for Niio in your phone's system settings, and that the appointment has a reminder set in the app. On some Android phones, battery-saving settings can also delay or block scheduled notifications — check that Niio is excluded from battery optimisation.
Subscriptions are billed and managed entirely by the App Store or Google Play, not by us. On iPhone, go to Settings → your name → Subscriptions. On Android, open the Play Store app → Menu → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Cancelling there stops all future charges.
No — Niio has no accounts and no servers, so everything you log stays on your device. If your phone backs up app data automatically (iCloud or Android Backup), a copy may exist there under your own account, but we have no access to it and can't restore data for you.
Uninstalling the app removes its database and settings from your device, and everything stored in them — due date, logs, checklist state, everything. There's nothing else to delete on our end, since nothing is stored anywhere but your phone.
Email us with your device model, OS version, and what happened — screenshots help a lot. We read every message.
